This Bukhansan Menhir is 4.3m wide, 2m high, 1m thick. This is closed to the old Daesong Gate in sansong(Mountain Fortress Wall) on the Bukhan mountains, Seoul. It's front side is faced to the west(250), which is covered with dozens of cupmarks. This figure is also found on a menhir at the Zinchondong, Daegu, and A Menhir of 'Long Meg and Her Daughters' Stone Circle in Cumberland, England. Zinchondong Menhir and Long Meg Menhir show the similar figures, and both are covered with the concentric cupmarks. Especially it can be found at the Boa Constricter in the novel, 'The Little Prince' written by Antoine de Saint-Exupery. In there, Prince's frighten masterpiece is the Boa Constricter digesting an elephant. In Ancient times, giant snake means dragon of Earth, and mountains or mounds. Elephant means pillar and support of heaven, which is the symbol of Dolmens and Menhir.
