As special achievements
- Constructed Satellite Signal Tracking Station CNES 2002 for CNES(Centre Nationale d'Etude Spatielle), and finished in 1968 when I was in the Departement d'Aerospatielle, Schlumberger,
Rueil-Malmaison, France.
- Studied, and realized the prototype of 24 channel PCM
Channel Bank, for the first time in Korea, for the RITT(Research Institute of Telecommunications Technology), YongSan Seoul Korea in 1971.
- Tested the prototype in the NoRyangJin Telephone Office using 10 NTT digital
repeaters which have been in use between NoRyangJin and YangSeo, with the kind
attendance of Dr. JohngRyun KIM, then KETRI (KIST) Vice-President who were
pleasantly surprised by the silent performance, or absense of
noise of that new digital telephone system under test.
- Studied, and launched the prototype of M2-3
Multiplexer and M1-3
Multiplexer (multiplexing 7 T2 levels, and 28 T1 levels correspondingly
for the first time in Korea, to form T3 level which works at 45mpps).
- Proposed and accepted by the ETRI. The new
system of T-3C (signal-juxtaposing
two T3 level PCM signals at 90 mega pps for Optical Fiber Cables, which was later
named, and distributed as 'FT-3C'. It took six Months
of persuation to be accepted. The authorization finally was done by Dr. JohngRyun KIM
then VP of ETRI. The hardware was implemented by Mr. SangJoong KIM and Mr.
KyuSeob CHO of ETRI: The latter became
Professor/Doctor of SungKyunKwan
University.
