The Map of Korea : Ancient Sites
|
1) This map of Korea is showing the ancient remains and the contemporary capital,
main cities, rivers, islands around the korean peninsula.
2) Icons of earthwork in the map mean mainly the enormous turf mounds (ancient king's tombs before A.D. 935). 3) The names in this map are used by official or normal in korea, have a little bit pronunciable problem, so I have changed the names in this Ancient Art Web Pages. Paju is same to Pazu, Taejon is Taezon or Daejon, Kwangju is Kwangzu, Puan is Buan, Changnyong is Changryong, Cheju is Zheju or Chezu, and so on, because we have got a perfect name in korean, and so all the name can be of variable in english. |
