Dolmens in Daebongdong

This dolmen was the most famous dolmen in Korea after 1940's. It was located at Daebongdong, Daegu, but it moved now into the campus of Kyongbuk University in Daegu. This miserable case was caused and begun by maybe British spys, I think. This was numbered as 4-3 dolmen at Daebongdong. Coverstone measures 5.6m x 3.3m. Prop stone is about 1 meter high.

Another one was numbered as 4-1 dolmen. Coverstone of this dolmen is not available, now. But there were 5 cists under the surface, which was moved into the campus of Kyongbuk University and remains like this.

Chamber tomb in Yakmokri

It was unearthed in 1960, was located at Yakmokri, Chilgok, near Daegu, which was moved into the campus of Kyongbuk University and remains like this. It's mound was measured 21m in diameter, 1 ~ 5m high, was ringed by small stones. This chamber tomb was in the center of it, it's measures 5.8m long, 1.3m wide, 1.4m high. There was found several earthenwares, iron arrows, iron swords.
