Dolmens and Menhir in KyongJuThousands of treasures have been excavated at the tumuli (tombs of ancient kings) in Kyongju (says like Kyongzoo), Korea, as the ancient capital in the Silla Period (A.D.57 - A.D.935). So many dolmens and menhirs could be destroyed or changed to Buddhistic materials in kyongju. Yet few dolmens are survived, but there are no finds, except dolmens at nodangri.

This dolmen is located in nodangri, kyongju, korea.
There are three dolmens in all, which are inside of private house,
near to, and similar to the dolmens in sonkyeri, yongil.
The largest and very perfect dolmen of them measures 2.8m long, 2.8m wide,
1.8m high. Each corner of it face to four cardinal points.
Tozidong

This dolmen, is one of 4 stones which were guessed as dolmens, is located beside road to the Temple of Bulkuk, near HyongSan Gas station, 5 Km away from CityHall of Kyongju.
These stones was excavated once, but no finds.
This huge granitic rock measures 3.6m long, 2.3m wide, 1.5m high.
And 6 small stones are beneath the rock.
The line of stones with this dolmen are parallel to the river (Nam Chon),
in the direction of the north-south, face to the west side, on the east-west hill.
Yongzangri

This is located at yongzangri, naenammyon, kyongju, korea.
It is 2.8m long, 1.7m wide, 1.1m high, parallel to the river (HyongSan Kang),
at the west of Mt. Nam (Nam San), in the direction of the north-south,
not on the hill, on the rice field.
Eezori

1.5 meters high and 1.2 meters wide, 30 cm thick menhir at eezori,
naenammyon, Kyongju, Korea.
