This old stone monument, called 'Kukchangsaeng National Stone Marker of Tongdosa', is located near the Buddhist Temple 'Tongdosa', in yangsan, near Pusan, korea. It measures 1.67m high, 60Cm wide. This was erected in A.D. 1085, is known to be the oldest stone monument in South Korea by now. Stone markers were to mark the boundary of temple lands and to protect the temple from the harmness through the geomantic thought 'Pungsu(Fengsui)'. Old scripts 'Idu' be ingraved on the upper side of it, mean "this is erected again to sustain the last decision by National governments, because the temple inquired about the erection of this marker."

In front of the temple 'Tongdosa', about 100m away from the front gate of the temple, there is a little queer rocky garden be surrounded by modern buildings. Some cupmarks are inscribed on the rocks, and also the remains be hollowed to be erected some of stone monuments are on it.
